Our First Soccer Game this Season
This morning was an historical occasion for us--Ryan played his first soccer game today without uncle Phillip being his coach--and he did it! This is pretty significant for him and at the first practice I had to literally drag him onto the field and stand with him for about 5 minutes, so the fact that he willingly participated in the game was huge! He remembered many of the skills he learned last year, thank you uncle Phillip for your leadership and patience, and he is improving! He blocked a couple of goals from the opposing team and made two goals--one for his team and one for the other guys, but hey the ball went in the net! Looking forward to a great season!!

Please allow me to share with you my life story,Having finished my primary school year 2001 and joined high school in 2002 and finished high school in 2005,i bless the Lord for His grace to let me finish my high school studied due to financial challenges. Being the first born, then my sister and my young brother and our cousin who lives with us because his parent died . my sister Catherine being i high school ,but now she is at home because of lack of school fees they usually pay 25000Kenya shilling (Ksh) per year, her high school was opened on 14th Jan 2008,she is at home please to pray help her, she is a candidate that is to do here final high school final examination at the end of this year,please do pray for her,this mighty affect her very badly. my young brother who is i primary school grade 2 i bless the Lord for there school fees is paid by government. my cousin whose parent died and now she lives with us being an orphan, lives with us and being helped by my parents.
My parent Mr and Mrs Kihu,cannot be able to support us all and meet all family needs. they have small business that support us pay house rent 5250 Ksh(75$) per month,t hat cater for some family needs and pay some school fees for both my sister and cousin. some time in the business they end up selling nothing or very little comes at the end of the day, like now here in Kenya there was tension and violence business people and customer were fearing for stealing or destruction of business, and being located in environment with poor and need y people. My mother later got an accident that left her body badly affected, which requires her frequently to visit hospital and medical cost is 1050KSh (15$) per month. this made me to stay at home and be helping my mother from the time i left high school in 2005 up today 2008 helping her, and also so as my sister and cousin and brother for thier studies with small in come from the business which cannot help me in my studies in college. if i am not at home i am at church ,helping in cleaning ,fellowship, bible study and prayers .the church i, attend is too small and cannot be able to help me , i have asked for support from people but no help from them.
It is disheartening feeling to see all this and especially the state of my family as the fist born and there is little i can do .please i urge you kindly in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to help me in my studies. I want to pursue a career in social work and community development here in Kenya , it is costly i cannot be able to afford that amount of money neither my parents. please i would appreciate to be helped so as to help my siblings to make their dream come true and support God's work i church. You cannot keep the bird from flying over your head (problems) but you can keep them from making nest in your hair. please given this opportunity to go to college i will study hard for God's Glory and answerable to you and my parent, so as to help my family and church.
please i would like top join a college here in Kenya named : Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development (kiswcd), my certificate course cost 36700Ksh (525$). please by the lord grace help me and pray for us.please even of is one time donation will be highly appreciated and help me in my studies and my siblings.i know that i know that the Lord will bless you and reward you may the favour of the Lord be with you and be blessed.please i will be waiting to here from you,be blessed.
