Many year ago when I was homeschooling Rachel, she began telling me that someday she really wanted to go to public school. When I asked 'why' she replied, "so that I can go to prom". Since those days she has attended private school and almost 2 years of public school. Last night the purpose of her educational quest was fulfilled: she went to prom! Actually the whole day was spent in preparation for the blessed event, but she went with her boyfriend and a couple of other kids from school. They had a great time, came home early and all was well.
